Monica is a serial entrepreneur and the founder of Broadway Murder Mysteries. As a Broadway marketing professional, she has worked on numerous shows, including the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Once On This Island, Deaf West’s Spring Awakening, It’s Only A Play, Gettin’ The Band Back Together, as well as the National Tour of A Night With Janis Joplin. Off Broadway: That Bachelorette Show, The Awesome 80s Prom, Daddy Long Legs, A Better Place. She is also the Chief Coloring Officer of Curious Custom Coloring Books.
Betsy Struxness is the voice of the Detective in several of our murder mystery games. She’s an interdisciplinary artist and WERQ Dance Fitness Master Trainer based in Los Angeles. After graduating with a BFA in Dance from The Juilliard School, Betsy has gone on to all sorts of performing adventures from cruise ships to voiceovers, Broadway to TV, you name it. On Broadway, Betsy made her debut with Wicked, and then very quickly joined the cast of Memphis right before its run into the Tonys. Her first originating experience was with Leap of Faith, to be joined in swift succession by Scandalous and Matilda. Her biggest honor to date has been bringing the smash hit musical Hamilton from the workshop to off-Broadway to Broadway as one of the original cast members. Her performance background makes her a powerhouse instructor who entertains while motivating and Betsy is sought after all over the country. Betsy enjoys her free time as a traveler, especially with her camera, shooting everything from landscapes to portraits to all things dance. Anthony is the voice of several of our murder mystery game detectives!
He’s originally from Chicago, Anthony is currently based in New York City.
There, he was most recently seen in THE PROM on Broadway. Anthony was part of the original broadway cast.
On TV, he was most recently seen on NBC’s Chicago Med as vampire, Tom Lyons (season 5 episode 7).
Anthony is currently shooting a new HBO series, MARE OF EASTTOWN, starring Kate Winslet. Release date TBD (2021).
He is also currently shooting Jenji Kohan’s new Netflix series, SOCIAL DISTANCE; a new series shot and produced through our current medium of self isolation.
Anthony is a graduate of Millikin University where he received his BFA in Musical Theatre.
After graduating, Anthony joined the first national tour of Disney’s NEWSIES and was later seen on
NEWSIES LIVE starring the Original Broadway Cast. He’s also a multi-instrumentalist songwriter.

Zakiya Young is the voice of our games Groomed for Murder, Murder by Midnight, and Stupid Cupid: Love Bites! She’s a working actress and VO artist who is based in Los Angeles. She was last seen onstage starring in The Old Globe’s acclaimed production of Danai Gurira’s play Familiar. Zakiya also participated in the Ojai Playwrights Conference New Works Festival. Broadway credits include Stick Fly, The Little Mermaid and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Off-Broadway, Zakiya received an Audelco Award Nomination for Storyville. Regional theater credits include Spamilton, Disgraced, Good People, Aida, White Christmas, Little Miss Sunshine and It’s a Bird...It’s a Plane...It’s Superman. Zakiya is the first and only black actress to play the iconic role of Lois Lane in any Superman project. On-camera credits include Room Enough, The Vanishing of Sidney Hall, Iron Fist, Orange is the New Black and Mozart in the Jungle.
Marty Thomas is the voice of several murder mystery detectives! He’s a recording artist and an actor who made his Broadway debut at age 11 as Colin in THE SECRET GARDEN. He also appeared on Broadway in WICKED and XANADU. He was named Mr. Broadway 2008 and was a 1992 Ed McMahons Junior Vocalist Star Search Champion beating a then-unknown Britney Spears. He has appeared off-Broadway in MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING, PAGEANT and A LOSS OF ROSES. He was featured in the film BIG GAY MUSICAL, plays Damon’ on TWO BROKE GIRLS (CBS), and Charlie on GRACE & FRANKIE (Netflix). He toured internationally with many theatrical productions as well as the famed QUEEN ESTHER MARROW & THE HARLEN GOSPEL SINGERS as their first Caucasian member. He is a vocal arranger, producer and backup vocalist who has sung with the likes of Billy Porter, Grace Jones, Patti Labelle, Jennifer Holliday, Stephanie Mills, Debbie Gibson, Martha Wash, Barry Manilow, Glen Campbell, Johnny Cash and many more. Marty is a renowned performer, director and producer in the New York cabaret and concert scene. His show MARTY THOMAS PRESENTS DIVA has toured nationally and performed weekly in New York residence for 8 years. Marty produces and directs the Miss New York Scholarship Competition and trains women for the Miss America Scholarship Competition year-round. He is an outspoken feminist and human rights enthusiast who has produced events and performed in events to raise thousands of dollars for charity throughout his career. Some of his favorite charities include Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, The Actors Fund, New Alternatives, The Ali Forney Center, The African Children's Choir, and the Phyllis Newmans Women's Health Initiative. Jonathan Sandler, voice of A VALENTINE MURDER CRUISE & MURDER AT THE RENAISSANCE FAIRE, was born and raised in Boxford, MA. Jonathan has appeared on Broadway in Wicked as Chistery and Mary Poppins as a multitude of characters including Neleus, Northbrook, and Valentine. His national tour credits include Sweet Charity starring Molly Ringwald (Ensemble/Herman u/s) and Dr. Dolittle starring Tommy Tune (Pushmi-Pullyu/Jean Pierre). Other New York and Off-Broadway credits include The Last Starfighter (Jerry/G’nur), Lincoln Center Spring Gala with Vanessa Williams and Michael Bolton, and Good Vibrations at New York Stage & Film (Rob). Jonathan currently lives in Los Angeles and his television credits include Gossip Girl, The Late Show with David Letterman, and Guiding Light. Natalie Charle Ellis was most recently seen in Broadway’s Beetlejuice the Musical as the offstage standby for Barbara and Delia. She was also in the original Broadway companies of School of Rock and Les Miserables (2014 revival) as well as an original cast member of the Off-Broadway production of Forbidden Broadway Alive and Kicking (album available on itunes). Some of her other favorite credits include: 9-5 the Musical (First National Tour); The Full Monty (Georgie) and Brigadoon (Meg) at Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera; Hello Dolly! starring Beth Leavel (Irene Molloy) and Clue (Mrs.White) at Cape Playhouse; Into the Woods (Cinderella) and Thoroughly Modern Millie (Millie) at Phoenix Theatre and Lizzie the Musical (Emma Borden) at Theatre Under the Stars. She was also a co-star on Master of None (Netflix). Natalie has also traveled the world performing on the high seas as a guest entertainer for Norweigian Cruise Line and American Hawaii Cruise Line as well as a principal performer at Tokyo Disney. Originally from Phoenix, AZ, Natalie has been performing since the age of 5 and always knew the stage was where she was meant to be. Michelle Dowdy booked a starring role on Broadway the day after she graduated from high school, and has never looked back! She is known as the youngest actress to ever play everyone’s favorite denizen of Baltimore – Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray. More recently, you may have seen Michelle touring the country as the Mistress of the House, Madame Thenardier, in Les Misérables.
